Trevor Mackie has created a visualization of Charlemont’s make-ready that will offer an at-a-glance status of each portion of town as we count down the remaining work needed to begin the distribution network.
Volunteers from the Charlemont Broadband Committee are working in parallel with the Verizon make-ready work in three broad areas: town path preparation make-ready projects (those lime green areas on the map), preparing for service pre-subscriptions by finalizing our drop policies and ISP contracts, and seeking additional project funding from numerous grant opportunities.
