The Charlemont Fairgrounds will serve as a construction staging area for the distribution network! Charlemont’s Parks and Recreation Commission has approved the use of the space which the selected contractor, TriWire, requested because of its proximity to the town center and the space available.
Highway Department Superintendent, Gordon Hathaway, has confirmed that the area will be plowed throughout the winter months to allow access to the materials as the build kicks off this month.
