Bids are being sought now for a CONDUIT INSTALLATION PROJECT on Hawk Hill Rd. and Heath Stage Terrace. Interested contractors are encouraged to apply. Bids close September 12, 2019, at 2:00 P.M. Request plans and specifications from https://frcog.org/bids.
REQUEST FOR QUOTES: The Franklin Regional Council of Governments (FRCOG) will accept price quotes on behalf of the Town of Charlemont for excavation for and installation of underground conduit (microduct) along Heath Stage Terrace and Hawk Hill Road in Charlemont in preparation for future fiber optic cable installation. The Town of Charlemont will supply the conduit, junction boxes, and pedestals and the Contractor will supply additional materials as listed below. The fiber optic cable will be installed by others at a later date. The area will be restored by the Contractor as part of the contract. All work will occur within the Town roadway layout and easements are not anticipated.
The Town of Charlemont reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in total or in part as they may deem to be in the best public interest.
