The Charlemont Highway Department assisted with the delivery of the materials that will be installed on the exterior of the Goodnow Town Hall, saving the town an estimated $600! The conduit and the fiber vault will be installed by Danek Excavating.
The conduit is being installed to take the distribution network fiber from the telephone poles on Rt. 2 into the basement of the town hall which will house the network equipment enclosure, the hub of the broadband network. This work forms the groundbreaking for the municipal fiber network! Congratulations Charlemont Connect!
