With the receipt of the final National Grid invoice, Charlemont has filed an application for an advance from the EOHED Last-Mile Contingency Fund for approximately $438,000.
This fund is available to support towns where the actual cost of the utility make-ready work exceeds the state’s estimated make-ready budget on which our project budgets are based. These funds are expected to be received before the end of the year and will be applied to the utility make-ready work.
The town will also be eligible for additional money from the Last-Mile Contingency Fund beyond this advance when the network is complete.
