Charlemont’s municipal fiber network, Charlemont Connect, is now serving over 50 customers since its late July launch! Homes and businesses are eligible to receive service if they are located in the village west of the town hall and convenience store through to Zoar Outdoor, including Warfield Road, Riddell Road, High Street. East Hawley Road and South River Road.
All residents, landlords, and businesses in this first fiber service area (FSA) are encouraged to subscribe and schedule installations now. Connecting these earliest customers before the other FSAs are released will help speed up the installation for subscribers in parts of town still in construction.
Installation subsidies of up to $1400 are available only during the network construction period and eligible subscribers can use the federal Emergency Broadband Benefit to take up to $50/month off the monthly cost.
