Splicers have completed FSA 05, which consists of the east end of the village, starting at 171 Main Street and the Federated church west through Avery Brook Road and the Red Rose motel, including Burrington the south end of Mountain Road. The testing phase is expected to kick off next week for this section of Charlemont.
Installations in FSA 01 are continuing where possible as teams work around the traffic calming work and the village center. Despite the disruption, Whip City Fiber teams are coordinating with Mass DOT and Maxymillian to connect these homes. TriWire has begun the rollout of MSTs in FSA 02, and splicers will move into FSA 04 once available. Construction status will continue to be updated as new phases of the project are started or completed.
