TriWire crews have announced plans to begin work on the ‘big easement’ in FSA 05 on April 19th. This utility easement runs for about a mile through the woods behind homes on Route 2 and Burrington Rd. Fiber teams will access the area largely on foot and install the strand and fiber by climbing each utility pole. Please give these hardworking crews a socially distanced word of thanks if you see them in this difficult stretch of the network construction!
The distribution network continues ahead of Westfield Gas &Electric (WG&E) expectations with splicing underway in FSA 01, the offroad portions of FSA 05 scheduled for completion, and strand and fiber going up in much of FSA 04. Home and business installations will be scheduled by Whip City Fiber for those that have signed up. Although there is no cost until your service is connected, you must sign up before the end of the construction period to receive up to $1,400 in installation subsidies. Sign up today to ensure your subsidy!
