The federal government has launched the Affordable Connectivity Program designed to reduce the cost of broadband service for eligible households by $30/month! Whip City Fiber is accepting applications for qualifying Charlemont subscribers.
Because Hawlemont’s school lunch program qualifies for the USDA Community Eligibility Provision, any household with a Hawlemont student meets the criteria for eligibility. The Affordable Connectivity Program replaces the Emergency Broadband Benefit which expired at the end of 2021.
