With the completion of the pole relocation work on the north end of Mountain Rd. in FSA 03, construction on the municipal fiber network is complete! With testing resources dedicated exclusively to Charlemont to get the work wrapped up, TriWire/ ITG continues to test the remaining network and remediate issues identified.
Once testing is complete, East Charlemont will be scheduled for service installations. Some testing has already begun in the final FSA and is expected to go much more quickly for folks still waiting on service north of the village center. Whip City Fiber has begun to do validations in parallel with installations for Charlemont FSAs which will bring service to customers as soon as possible.
