Subscribe Now To Ensure Subsidy For Underground Installations

Labor Day marks the traditional end of summer when preparations begin in earnest for the cold months ahead. To ensure access to a town installation subsidy of up to $1,400, homes and businesses with underground utilities should be sure to sign up for service now to schedule exterior path preparation before the ground freezes. There are smaller subsidies for non-resident landlords and homeowners who are not ready to take service but would like to make sure that a premise is internet-ready for a future tenant or potential buyer.  Details are available in the Charlemont Connect Service Connection and Installation Policy.

Locations in FSA 04, FSA 02, and FSA 03 are scheduled for release to the town during the cold months for interior installation and service connection when underground construction will not be possible. Once the construction crews complete the distribution network and installation crews leave the area, the subsidy will no longer be available to connect your home or business to the municipal fiber network.
